GTA Extended Tour takes you on a journey of 3 hours visiting 8 of the most popular Gibraltar Attractions that will give you a deep sense of Gibraltar’s Natural Beauty, its rich history and cultural heritage, and Gbraltar’s significance in History throughout the ages.

GTA Extended Tour will begin with a fascinating visit to the 100 Ton Gun, one of the four built in 1870 and is one of the only two remaining in the world. A muzzle loading gun that required a crew of 35 men including 18 men to handle the ammunition, a totally unique Gibraltar Attraction that gives you a close sense of the power of the military era in Gibraltar. 

Followed by this, the Tour will follow to the southernmost tip of Gibraltar known as Europa Point, a stunning viewpoint where the Mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. At Europa Point you may stroll along the walkways appreciating the various notable landmarks in the area, like the Trinity Lighthouse, the Sikorski’s memorial, the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque and others. 

The  GTA Extended Tour will then take you to the Pillars of Hercules at the very entrance of the Upper Nature Reserve followed by the amazing St. Michael’s Cave, a natural cave of limestone formations, with a new recent lighting show called “The Awakening”  within St. Michael’s Cave, enhances its natural beauty, with strategically placed spotlights illuminating the formations, creating a dramatic and theatrical atmosphere, illuminating sculptures older than time, taking you on a live journey through the History of the Rock of Gibraltar. 

Once you have indulged in these incredible Gibraltar Attractions first hand, GTA Extended Tour will take you one of the highest viewpoints of the Rock of Gibraltar called the Gibraltar Skywalk, a glass-bottomed platform that juts out from the top of the iconic Rock of Gibraltar, at a breathtaking height of over 400m above sea level.

The Upper Rock Nature Reserve is full of surprises so on the tour you will also encounter the famous Gibraltar Macaques. Gibraltar is the only place in Europe where these sociable Barbary Macaques live in the wild; there are approximately 300 Macaques in Gibraltar and they make up several distinct family packs. Each pack is led by a dominant male, called the Alpha male, who is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of that family.

The  GTA Extended Tour will provide a visit to two of the main Historical landmarks in Gibraltar, that will give you a great sense of the importance of Gibraltar’s involvement in military history, through many battles and victories. By visiting The Great Siege Tunnels and The Moorish Castle Gibraltar Attractions, as you explore and walk down the Great Siege Tunnels which consists of a system of strategic tunnels carved out of limestone rock, built by the forefathers of the Royal Engineers, with the use of sledgehammers, crowbars, and controlled gunpowder explosions, showcasing impressive feats of physical strength and engineering process;  And climb up to the top of the Moorish Castle, a unique medieval fortification in Gibraltar and one of the most prominent landmarks in Gibraltar standing as an important piece of the country’s rich history,  you will understand the resilience and ingenuity of those involved in the defence of Gibraltar during war times.

    How do we reserve our Tour?

    Booking is easy. On each Tour Package page you will find a Check Availability Form to fill in with your details and submit your reservation with us. Once we receive it we will check for availability and get back to you within 24 hours.

    What are the payment methods available to pay for the Tours?

    Once your reservation is confirmed and we have received your details, we will send you a payment request link to secure your reservation slot. If no payment is received the slot will remain available to other customers. For more information please contact us via email or whatsapp.

    Are the entrance tickets to the sites included in the price of the Tour?

    Yes. All Tours include entrance tickets to the various sites, including to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve and the sites within the Upper Rock. Having all the fees paid beforehand will enable you less waiting time and hassle so you can enjoy the sites as much as possible.

    What is the Policy for Cancellations?

    Hopefully there will be no need to cancel your most anticipated tour around the Rock of Gibraltar, however, we will consider special circumstances that may arise, such as unforeseen travel delays. If you can advise us within 48 hours in advance we can make other arrangements or modifications to your tour, but unfortunately if it’s 48 hours or less, before an agreed reservation, no payments or deposits will be refunded. 

    What happens if our group has more than 8 people?

    Normally our vehicles can take up to 8 passengers plus the driver, but if you wish to reserve a Tour for a larger group, we can make special arrangements by assigning more than one vehicle to the group or by making available one or more minibuses if need be. For more detailed information we recommend you get in contact with us via email or whatsapp and we will do our best to find a way to accommodate your group.
